I love developing usable and rich web applications using the latest techniques available.

I’ve improved my blog design a little, it’s still far from done. Here’s a little do to list to remind myself.

• Write content for my about page
• Code my showcase
• Include a simple contact form

I also claimed my blog at Technorati. I’m currently setting up my Technorati Profile. Please add me to your favorites :)

More news on SWFUpload! Real good news. A new version of SWFUpload has been released and has some great improvements.
There are more callback-options and events then before, the queue works properly now and offcourse the documentation has been updated.

I’m not sure but the new function probably solve some issues discussed before in SWFUpload and SWFUpload part II

Update
Well I’ve updated my WP install to 2.1 and I moved to www.pagebakers.nl, so far so good.
To keep my pagerank and everything else working I added a 301 permanent moved header, hopefully I did it right.
If you find any problems please leave a note, so I can fix it ASAP!.

I updated my blog template again and fixed some minor bugs. I’m finally getting somewhere, but there’s still plenty to do.
Here’s a little todo list:

• Fix my showcase
• Write some content for my about page
• Include my contact information somewhere on the page
• Update WP to version 2.1
• Move from blog.pagebakers.nl to www.pagebakers.nl

It’ll take me a few more weeks to finally complete everything, but at least I don’t have to be bored :P

Well I finally get rid of my Captcha!. I was thinking about doing this for a while, but I couldn’t do without it because all the spam I used to get.
Why? well… it was really hard to read sometimes, it’s not really user friendly and I’m currently testing another plugin, called Akismet.

If you have other suggestions just shout :)

Akismet has been running for a week now and it already filtered 320spam posts, incredible!
The only thing I noticed is that my blog loads slower then normal, of course I don’t want that. Do you have other anti spam suggestions or do you know how to optimize Akismet please do drop a comment.

It’s been a while since my last update, but I’m back again and improved!

As you see I improved my blog template with the intentions to make it more readable and give it a nicer look. There are still some things to do and there are probably still some little bugs, so drop a comment if you find some.

I decided to combine my front-, company page with my blog because I didn’t really have content for it and this way it perfectly fits my need.

Furthermore I started a new school project called Pagebakery.

Pagebakery is an opensource cms that tries to close the gap between developers and end-users.

I’ll update you on this regularly, so keep an eye on this one. More information can be found on the Pagebakery blog.
